What is the GTA San Andreas screen resolution problem?

Widescreen HOR+ Support is a mod for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, created by Wesser. Description: This GTA San Andreas modification implements the 'Hor+ widescreen' support adopted by most of the games released after 2005. When changing resolution on PC from 800x600 to 1024x768, or any other resolution, the game crashes. There is a quick fix in order to solve this problem. If you still can't get it working then you'll have to try using the nvidia panel or afterburn. Like was posted above, 3d era games aren't built to run above 30 fps. Just bought GTA SA on Greenmangaming for $3.00. The Game is Version 3, but it seems the highest resolution you can pick is 1440x900. And yes my video card and monitor does support 1920x1080. First off copy the SA downgrade files to the SA directory, let everything overwrite. Click to run the install.bat file and let it downgrade, it might ask. When i change the resolution and click the mouse button the screen goes black for a second and then changes the resolution. The widescreen on and off feature doesn't make any kind of change. The widescreen option if for 4:3 aspect ratio. To run in a native widescreen resolution change simply select your resolution in the advanced video options.
