Welcome! I am Dan Fornace, the artist and programmer on this fan-project. For years, I have loved the Smash Brothers series and its simple yet deep gameplay. As an artist, I have tried many times to pay homage to one of my favorite games. Now here you find my latest and greatest attempt, Super Smash Land.

Super Smash Land is a free to play PC Game that is designed to look and feel like it is being played on the original Nintendo Gameboy. I have simplified the experience while keeping the characters and features you are used to along with my own creative decisions.

Trying it out is easy enough; grab it for your PC with the link to left. The [Arrow Keys] are the default movement keys while [Z] is A and [X] is B and [Enter] is Start. Controls can be changed in the Options Menu. For all you mac players, you may be able to play the game using Wine. A mac build is very possible for the future.

Hello. I am Brendan Becker, known to the music world as Inversephase, and I am responsible for the Audio in Super Smash Land. Dan originally planned to find suitable (existing) gameboy tracks and sound effects and adapt them for use in Super Smash Land, but he quickly realized Super Smash Land needed a soundtrack and feel all its own. I was commissioned to write new music arrangements and sound effects completely from scratch to give the game a more cohesive feel.
